Frequently asked questions
Do I still need my own accountant?
Not necessarily. On Asistido we assign you an accountant who keeps your books inside EasyKonta. If you already have one, invite them to your company with the Accountant role and work together in the same system.
What does the dedicated accountant do?
They record and review what happens each month: received documents, bank, collections and payments. They reconcile, close the month and prepare your tax-return figures. You invoice and answer their questions from your phone.
Does EasyKonta file my tax returns?
EasyKonta prepares the D-104, D-101, D-151 and D-270 from your books, with the D-104 reconciled document by document. Filing happens in TRIBU-CR with those figures.
How does my bank activity get recorded?
You download your statement from online banking (Excel, CSV or PDF) and upload it. EasyKonta recognizes the account, skips duplicates and suggests how to record every line. You never share your bank passwords.
Does it support e-invoicing v4.4?
Yes. EasyKonta signs and sends invoices, receipts, export and purchase invoices, credit and debit notes and electronic payment receipts straight to Hacienda. It also receives and responds to the documents issued to you.
Can I switch from another system?
Yes. Customers, suppliers, products and employees load in bulk from Excel, opening inventory is recorded at your cut-off date and opening balances go in as a journal entry. From there, everything runs in EasyKonta.
What is Kontia and what data does it see?
Kontia is EasyKonta's AI assistant. It uses a Google model and receives the active company's accounting data with tax IDs, emails and phone numbers masked. It never sees your credentials or signing key, and you always confirm anything irreversible.
What does the legal side of Deluxe include?
Support from the practice of Jonathan E. Orozco, coordinated with your accountant. The scope of the legal service is agreed with you when you sign up; EasyKonta is the software where both work from the same information.

Yes. On a phone, lists turn into cards, reports scroll inside their frame and your clients answer questions with a photo of the receipt.
Which countries does it cover?
Costa Rica. EasyKonta is built for Hacienda, CCSS, INS and IFRS for SMEs as they apply here, and the app itself is in Spanish.
Can I see my company's numbers without being an accountant?
Yes. With the Client role you get the Overview: cash in the bank, this month's sales and expenses, profit for the year, what you're owed and what you owe, and who owes you the most. It works on your phone and your laptop, and it's read-only: your accountant records the data.
